Paula Glasscock, Young Adult Author

Paula Glasscock, Lakewood,  Colorado, has had a portion of her young adult novel, Murder for a Jar of Red Rum, accepted for critique by the 2013 Big Sur Workshop. It is run by the Society of Children’s Book Writers’ and Illustrators (SCBWI) and will be held in Boulder, Colorado, this year.

Her book is part of an ongoing series.  The action revolves around fourteen-year-old twins whose parents are kidnapped by an underground organization who are bent on taking of the world’s art and antiquities treasures. They must navigate their way through a maze of secret codes, traps, betrayal and death if they hope to rescue their parents.

Glassock is a retired English teacher and physician assistant.  In addition to writing, she enjoys travel, reading, painting, watching the Broncos, and spending time with her family and friends.  She is married with grown children and two granddaughters.
